The Delicious Food at Plant-Stock
The delicious food at Plant-Stock deserves its own moment in the spotlight. I wish we had more pictures, but at several of the meals we were so excited to savor this carefully prepared, healthy food, we devoured it before remembering to take a picture! The picture above shows Sunday’s lunch of a Summer Farm Burger, Beet Salad and herbal iced tea. Here is the menu we enjoyed during our weekend at Plant-Stock:
Saturday
Breakfast- Steal Cut Oats with Toppings (chia seeds, raisins, cinnamon and bananas); Blueberry Muffins; Coffee and Herbal Teas
Lunch- Jane’s Jammin’ Burritos (onion, garlic, cabbage, black beans, yellow squash, fat-free refried beans, bell pepper, brown rice, cayenne pepper, cumin, whole wheat wraps); Grape & Mango Salsa; Kale Ceviche Salad; Whole Fruit; Herbal Teas
Dinner- Kale Bruschetta; Raise-the-Roof Lasagne; Garden Salad with Ann & Essy’s Favorite Dressing; Steamed Kale and Walnut Sauce; Date Nut Chocolate Pie; Wine
Sunday
Breakfast- Steal Cut Oats with Toppings (chia seeds, raisins, cinnamon and bananas); Apple Cinnamon Muffins; Coffee and Herbal Teas
Lunch- Summer Farm Burgers (made from chickpeas and beans!); Beet Salad; Whole Fruit; Herbal Teas
In between these scrumptious meals we enjoyed snacks such as fresh peaches, which were perfectly ripe, very messy, and yummy.
